Anyone else getting tired of staring in to Rotfaces fat stinky ass? I know I am! Starting the raid with an almost certain knowledge that we won't get further than him is, well, demotivating for me

But what causes it?.. (and feel free to bring in theories! )
from my pov, its either:

1. We're raiding late. As the clock is ticking against vampire hours (midnight) i can hear more and more yawns on skype, yes they are very noticeable Is it possible to set the raid start earlier at night, or do anyone have a working schedule that makes this impossible?

2. There is almost no discussions after wipes on what went wrong and what has to be done better. Lack of feedback can in the worst case cause us to do the same mistake(s) over and over again. It wont't help getting all ressed, buffed and ready in 2 mins if we lie dead on the floor 30 secs into the bossfight :/ I know everyone is busy with their role, but there are other ways to point out what went wrong (addons etc). if needed, one dps can be pointed out to have an overlook; who didnt run, what has to be done faster, was the position right? etc.


3. Tactics! yes it should be the most obvious thing, but do we know the tactics well enough? im starting to dig into even healer and tank's tactics to know the fights to their full extinct. and i stare my eyes blind at tankspot videos watch for your class' tips and tricks for the fights! and there are really good blogs out there with helpful tipses about raids, gear, gemming etcetra!

4. Motivation! you wont perform your best if you convince yourself its not needed. there should even be a struggle to top dps on trash since they eat out of our precious raid time i myself discovered a whole new way using my 2nd spec- trash spec and glyphed for it! ^^


do we want to go further? do we want to rape the lich king? if not, we should just go back to doing dailies for pets and mounts ...or?
is it the costs of raiding thats holding anyone back? in that case, ill help out! from now on, ill deposit as much feasts/ food/ flasks in the gbank as needed! Dont settle with Fish Feast if its not the best food for your spec and class; just ask for another one and ill make it with my cooking/alchy skillz DONT BE SHY PEOPLE, it's there to be used and is anyone needing anything from other raids that is BIS for them? ill go in there with you with my bow and faithful pet and help u get it!

and to the lack of holy paladins; give me a word and ill step up and try to grasp the full art of healing (a little help here gil? pleaaaseee?); a hunter is not crucial to a raid but a tank healer is, so...


please, some thoughts about this (wish more folks actually did read the forum) ! am i totally wrong when i feel either this is going somewhere or nowhere very soon?

Sweet post, to start with

I agree, we are raiding a bit late. I would prefer a hour earlier and maybe even start inviting ppl a ½ hour before raiding time schedules.

We really should raid more often, we all raid wedensday, why not take thursday too ?

We shouldnt take new ppl in, before we have finished the instance our self.. (the regular ppl). The dps is needed and even i, lack on the dps now and then, and i havent found the solution for it.. it just happens.

- We can start taking in new peeps, when we can 9-man the instance tbh.

I can only agree with you in what you say Kyanwa. we Raider late, we're never the same group and we Raider only 1 time per week.
I can be good because only speak for myself, I have not able to raid until 20:30,, perhaps too late. I have no major problems that we spend some gold on that raid, and hopefully one day we get down the Lich King.
I have spent some time online, where I've read about others' experiences with the ICC. many agree that it should be the same 10 or 25 people who Raider every week because there are many things to be learned and done at the right times. many agree that it is hard to invite new ppl in the raid, they say its the same as many wires. I would like that we get further into the ICC, but not at any price.
I personally am tired of doing the same thing week after week. I am open to new suggestions for what to do to move forward.
and yes, a paly healer is really nice to have. we can easily heal without a paly, but it's much easier when we have a paly in the group. Fall Creek and I was busy in our last run, but it went. I am still convinced that 3 healers are preferred for part of the fighting, if we are to move forward.

yea my oppenion is to whe have to raid more often and earlier... maybe whe have to do maybe a weakly raids? the icc10 whill be reserved for more experiences players and more geard ... maybe whay not to play some toc agean? or maybe ony ? I know its maybe a stupid but have to spice up the things in guild ... maybe ewen to make some pvp skype groups ... dont geat me wrong I am all in pve but you know for fun ... maybe the guild is missing some things like that ?---

1st of all Kyanwa is right In all she writes.

My solution would be that we raid more . 1 or 2 tryies at the end of the 1st raid isnt enuff. and also when we learn a new boss we have to accept that it will be wipes. And prolly not only 1. and ppl have to accept that a wipe on a boss we trying to learn is a part of the game. so not show up and the 2nd raif couse we only have hard bosses left wont help us progress further.

well I vote for more raid days. and even if we wipe keep good faith and tell ppl what they did wrong insted of " GG " and such thingys.
